This tool has multiple uses. I have used it to help my kids with mathematical conversions and I have used it to help me convert recipes to fit my families needs. Excluding Search Terms in Google
This is a little trick that I use all the time when the Google results are not quite right. If I am searching for something in particular, you may get certain results that keep coming up that just are not what you are looking for. In order to exclude those keywords that are a part of what is coming up in the results, but is certainly not what you are searching for, just include a ( - ) Minus symbol before that keyword, and the Google results will exclude that particular keyword from the results.
For example, let's say I am looking for the City of Harvard, but when I type in Harvard, all I get back is results from Harvard University. Just add the minus symbol and take out results with university as a keyword. The City of Harvard comes right on top of the results.

Google nGram Viewer
This is an interesting tool (nGram Viewer) that most don't know anything about. But Google has indexed over 5 Million Books online, so they can very quickly tell you the history on the occurrences of words in books through out time. You can also put commas between the words to compare words over time. You can also adjust the time frame of what books to look into between 1800 to the present. The default compares Frankenstein, Albert Einstein and Sherlock Holmes. You can quickly see that Frankenstein wins out.
